Ok, I already asked this in "Where can I get them?", but I figured I'd make a new post in case some people were done reasing that thread.. Someone on pangea is offering me baby leachies, 1 for 300 or both for 500.  He said they have zig zag tails, which im guessing like kinked tails... BUT he said that is normal in baby leachies and should go away in no time... Is this true or is he trying to screw me over? He's going to send me pics soon, so I'll post them here when I get them.  But any info on this would be great.

Also, since we are going to the hamburg show.  What is the cheapest that baby leachies go for at show like that?

You know, normally I would say that the kinked tail thing is BS, but I have to say that he's probably right. When I got my baby leachie it had a kinked tail as well and as far as I can tell it's not kinked anymore. I don't know if it's normal or not, I think the guy we got them from was feeding baby food so they may not have been getting the calcium that they needed. The deal that you're being offered sounds like a really good one depending on the locale of the leachie. Even if it's a mix you usually can't find them for under $350. When Amanda and I got ours we got a similar deal and we ended up getting ours for $275 each shipped. Your deal is the first time I've seen anyone else that low.

Who are they from if you don't mind me asking.

I have two and since I got them off Pangea, I'm guessing I got mine from the same guy that is offering you some. They are Isle E.  Mine also had the zig zag tails, which, from my understanding, is normal in babies.  Mine are getting huge and don't have kinky tails anymore.  They are siblings to maxpower's little one that he posted pictures of on Pangea. Also, I posted pictures of mine in the other thread  "Where can I get them?"

I'm thinking they are Island E's... Now what exactly is the island e?? I've heard of it, but the only thing I can find stuff on is nuu ana, nuu ami, and grand terra... What is an Island E? And how does it differ from the others?? He is now saying he will give me one for $250... How is that for an island e?

That's an awesome deal! You would be getting it from the same guy that Adam (Max Power) got his from. The different names stand for where they originate, so they are islands off of New Caldonia I believe. Island E is Moro but I believe most people just refer to them as Island E's There is a phenominal thread about it on the Repashy forum:

How much do baby island e's usually go for?  And what is different about the island e's than the others?  Is it smaller or bigger or what?

I think I've generally seen them for $300-400 and that's for young one. Probably about a little over 2". As far as the differences between them I'm not confident enough to answer that, you'd have to consult someone with the Rhac Book.

Lol, well I should be getting my rhac book soon, I've been waiting on it for a while now.  I should hopefully have it by the end of this week or next week.  The $250 one he has is only about a gram he says, the other one he wants $300 for is a little bigger.

it says in the rhac book that it is very common for baby leachies to have kinked tails when they are younger and that it isn't something to worry about if everything else looks fine, my baby nu ana has a slightly kinked tail and he is doing fine Cheesy  i also believe Phillipe has quite a few leachies for sale right now, he puts an add on kingsnake every once in a while

they are pretty much tanks from what ive heard...........but, they have been known to "go off feed" after shipping, especially at a younger age. that is hit or miss and might not even happen. i have heard it from a few people
