i have had a hard time finding dishes small enough for the hatchlings. well today at Walmart, i was in the isle for Children's party favors and i found this pack by Lisa Frank- there are 6 body glitter and 6 lip gloss, which turns out that the lids can be used also. that gives me 24 dishes. i just need to clean out the dishes and wash them good. if you know a girl who wants the lip gloss, you can scrape it into a baggy with a scewdriver. the cost was $2.96

Colleen, I use the plastic  lids from a gallon of milk. They are the perfect size and are free.

hurm. those are both great ideas. i was thinking about the same issue this week. i'll have to bribe my milk drinking friends into saving some of those for me.

for the really little hatchlings, the milk tops are still a bit big. these are small enough for them. i have been saving up vitamin bottle lids, as well, but i just don't have enough. that is why when i saw these, i got them.

I have the kind that you have to pull off with a tab, not the screw tops. They are very short.
