Does anyone here use phoenix worms for Rhacs?  I just picked up my first batch today and I'm fairly disappointed with them.  For one, these "large" phoenix worms are so small it seems like they're a good size for my juvies but not worth the effort for my adults.  Another problem I had was the bedding-besides smelling bad, it's so clingy and in such tiny particles that I can't seem to completely clean it off the worms before feeding.  Finally, only one of my geckos actually ate a phoenix worm.  Several would grab them and then spit them out, which makes me think they don't taste much better than they smell.  Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else had tried them and if you experienced these same issues if you did.

i did try them. only one of my 8 geckos ate them. the rest did not seem to notice them. you have to put them in a dry container with small holes and let them dry off, then you can put them in a bowl and they can't get away. but if they are wet, they can climb out. i think they are very cool, but my gex don't even notice. i might try them one more time, since they live a long time.

I haven't used them for the geckos.  Since they are so grubbie looking, i would think the rhacs wouldnt be intrested in them.  They are more into bugs.  I dont use any insects in my geckos though.

I do use the phoenix worms for my dragons and love them.  Its much more profitable for me to feed the babies the occassional phoneix worm than baby crickets.

I use veggies and trex VGF for my babies with great success.  I use insects as supplement.

Well most of my Rhacs love waxworms, but they don't seem to like phoenix worms nearly as much (if at all).  They're probably best for leos, beardeds, and other eating machines but I still can't imagine feeding them to anything other than hatchlings.  When I ordered large worms, I didn't expect such tiny feeders.
