Im starting to get a photo colection going showing the color change in my holdbacks from this year (will post pics once i get something substantial put together). so far this one just keeps getting lighter, im hoping for a black and cream (posibly extreme) harlequin.
8 weeks old, just shed.
had to snap a pic of this one too. the camera phone doesnt do the colors justice, but this guys dorsal stripe GLOWS.

its pretty much a harlequin with ALOT of patterning on its limbs and body. I dont know if there is a set amount of patterning that qualifies a gecko as an extremem harlequin.
personally i break it down like this :
(a light colored dorsal stripe, and) 0-30% patterning i call a flame
30-60% patterning i call a harlequin
60%-90% patterning i would call an extreme harlequin.
(personally) I dont think anything with patterning covering more than 90% of its body should qualify as a harlequin, at that point they almost could be called a high color tiger or brindle IMO

can you somewhat tell by the amount of "flames" going up the side of the gecko? Like most harleys i see have 3 or 4, i have a geco that has about 6. I will try to post a picture of her. Do you think she would be considered extreme?

it really depends on the amount of patterning on the entire gecko. there is no set standard on the shape or placement of the markings, an extreme harlequin is pretty much just a really nice harlequin.pretty much take all the traits that distinguish a harlequin from a patternless or tiger morph and intensify/multiply them (if that makes any sense
)
