So I finally set up a website. Its where I will be selling geckos once we have been breeding for awhile, get the hang of pricing gex for sale, and feel comfortable shipping them.

yeah its gonna be awhile before anything is actually sold on the website, but hey its free so why not. Plus now everyone can check it out and give me feedback.

What do you look for in a breeders website?
What could I add to make people feel more confident in purchasing from me?

I would add a good care sheet, so your customers know how to care for their new best friends!!

You also need a terms page-so people know what to expect, and what you expect of them!

Again-I defer to Anthony-again-these are just a template-and you should tweak them to say what YOU want them to.

For example-not too many of us are going to give a 30-day health guarantee.

Awesome thanks. Those are great ideas i didnt even think of.

I didnt think to put a care sheet. I guess i took for granted that people would actually know how to care for a gecko before purchasing.

I also didnt think about a terms page, yet again im trusting people too much.

Im not going to set up a shipping page yet. I dont feel comfortable shipping animals yet. Ive never done it, so it kinda scares me. For now just local selling. But i will have to add that when i come to that point.

Off to make some changes!
