I was just posting on pangea wondering when my gecko eggs will hatch, then i go into my room, and there is a little gecko looking at me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

after 78 days of incubation little Cache came into the world, and i think hes got some of mommas temperment- thanks a lot donna, lol!

he didnt like all the attention and picture taking, he just seems kinda sleepy.

Im so excited i could cry! i think hes about 1 gram, i havent weighed him yet.

Ok im pretty sure the next egg is going to hatch tonight! It looks like a balloon right now. It has grown so much the past 2 days, the little egg next to it appears deflated in comparisson. AND the stretch marks on it are so deep they look like cracks. if it grows anymore it will crack, so im pretty sure tonight is the night

ugh no baby yet. I told him to hatch out 2 days ago. If it waits till next week then its my husbands baby and i wash my hands of the brat. lol. we both guessed when the eggs would hatch. the first egg was 2 days after my guees- i won there. my husband said it would be next weekend. NO NO NO. must be this weekend!

Like their human counterparts, gecko babies come when they're READY...NOT when they're scheduled to...unless they're by c-section!!

Thats for sure! im desperately trying not to do a gecko c-sec aka cutting it open. I know there is no reason to cut it open, obviously. But i just wanna see its little face!

After 89 days in incubation, little Mardi hatched out this morning at 6:30. he looks a lot like his clutch mate, but a lot less orange. his dorsal color is kinda cream tan. I will get pictures up today

its cute because both little ones have the same dark spot in the center of the forehead. cache has moms orangey back, but i can tell mardi is gonna be a little different
