Hunger Strike

Ok so all of my geckos seem to be going on a hunger strike or something, I dont get it. It has been 2 weeks since ive noticed any kind of food being eaten.

Im sure they are eating something because they dont look skinny, but they arent eating as much as usual. I got a new flavor of CGD, so maybe that will help.

What could cause them to not wanna eat? i keep the food fresh, it gets changed every other day, i keep it the same consistency. Are they just in a mood?

I've had the little "darlings" go off their food for nearly a month, with no harm to them.

All you can do id wait them out and keep trying different things.  Try a little finely chopped fruit, but no citrus fruits or pineapple.  Try wax worms, phoenix worms, crickets, roaches-dubias or lateralis-NOT German cockroaches.  And butter worms leave caustic burns on cresties, so skip them!!

Try a different flavor of CGD...Pangea sells several flavors, and mine clean the bowls for peach!!  They were all iffy for the original flavor.  Not too sure how they feel about strawberry...we're still in the testing phase.

Just be patient.

They WILL NOT starve themselves to death.

i know they wont starve to death. Its just kind frustating to put food in there and have it go to waste. Im trying the fig flavor now.

I'm Italian, and I was raised knowing that to waste food is a MORTAL SIN-even if it's for an animal.

We're GOING TO HELL!!!!
