Heatwave-not too cooperative tonight.

Sparky-

Both parents are yellow tigers.

In the morning, I'll take pics of the other hatchlings from the last week or so.

Thank you, hon!!

I'm pretty proud of them.  The female-Tigger-was supposed to be Pat The Gimp's mate, but when we lost him to the fungal infestation over the winter, I had to pick up a new male.

My favorites are still super dals & Mardi Gras dals.

But that doesn't mean that I don't love all the kids that come along!

OMGosshh I swear my latest hatched tiger look so much like that!!  Grin

I think I may have produced a solid phantom pinstripe olive, and some of the pinstriping is white and looks like has a little bit of white lateral pinstriping.

That would be awesome!!
I don't know how I could get a good picture, my full grown olive doesn't even show up olive in pictures, I can't imagine how hard it will be to get a 2g baby to actually show olive in a picture!
You will be the first to know. I may decide to just quit with my olive project and work on a WHOLE bunch of other ones involving more reds and neons...I don't know I like how almost no one breeds olive anymore, it makes me feel special haha.
I'll let you know if I let mom or baby go, the dad is like a mocha/olive phantom with lateral patterns too.

COOL!!

If you let them go, give me a shout!!

It's funny...growing up in my grandparents' house back in the 70's, 90% of the color scheme revolved around antique gold and olive green, and I didn't even have a choice of what color my room was...I HATED those colors!!

And my mom has carried on the olive theme in her house, too...to the point of being dark and depressing.

But I LOVE olive...on geckos...but that's about it.

Yeah-I've often said that lives are the hardest to photograph.  It's almost impossible to capture their color!!
