So I just started weighing the geckos once a week. lacey has been weighing about 27 grams the first 2 times i weiged her. The last weiging she was 24 grams. She still looks the same, she doesnt look like she lost that much.

I read that you should take them to the vet if there is any weight loss. I am out of town for my husbands work, and the nearest crestie vet is an hour away. we are moving back saturday, and when we are home i am about 2-2.5 hours away from a crestie vet!

I dont know if i could even get an appointment for lacey before we move, but if its something serious i dont want to wait and be even further away. Is it possible this weight loss is something minor, like she was just eating a lot before or something? I know ball pythons will be a little heavier when they ovulate, i dont know if geckos do that or not.

She has been eating normal, very active

Im including a picture, its not that good but you can see she looks normal. (or maybe a more trained eye will see something i dont)

Well I found another crestie vet less then an hour away when i go back home, so it wont be a huge issue to take her to the vet there if needed

It's summer.

Eggs are being laid and temps soar.

Diets can be effected.

I'd give it a day or two, and see if you canactually see them eating.

If not, a trip to the vet would be a good idea...along with a fecal.

In that case, I would get a fecal and take her to a vet.

It may be a parasite infestation.

Good luck with her!!
