I have a crested gecko named Harley. It is a boy name but we still can't tell if he is a boy or girl yet. When can you tell?  Huh Right now he is 8 months old. Answers appreciated Wink

an experienced breeder can sometimes spot pores on animals as small as 4-5 grams. do you know how much your gecko weighs? Ive never been able to spot pores on my cresties, even with a 30x loupe Angry. i have to wait for them to mature (usually by the time they are 18-20 grams) before i can know for sure if they are male or female.

by that age a lot of males will have a buldge at the base of the tail also. you can sometimes see spores with the naked eye if you have enough like and if your gecko has a plain enough belly color. You would see a line of tiny tiny tiny dots between where the legs are.

I think Harley could be a male or female name
