Congrats!!

 Cheesy

Take your eggie into a dark room with a flashlight, and candle it!  It will have a pink/red ring-the "magic Cheerio"-if it's fertile!!

Crossing my fingers for ya!!

But don't worry if it's a dud...the next ones might be fertile!!

Just keep your male in with her, and let him do his job!

thanks! im assuming its prolly somewhat normal for it to be just one since its her first ever but is there anyway i would be able to tell if she is eggbound or is it possible she could suddenly lay one more soon??because i know it take around a month gve or take for the next clutch.

I'd check the lay box again before bedtime and then again in the morning.

Sometimes it takes them a while to get both eggs laid, especially if you interrupted her during laying.

Sometimes they do only lay one, though.

If you see one side of her more "chunky" than the other, she MIGHT be egg-bound.

Just keep an eye on her and on the lay box.

I'm betting you'll have the other egg soon.

To take your mind off the waiting you could maybe try keeping records and notes about all your little guys  Smiley

And congrats!!  Grin My first babies took around 120 days to hatch, maybe a little longer!
