2 of my females have recently looked rather fat around the middle to me. One is 23 grams the other is 14. since i noticed the chunky middle the weight has only gone up 3 grams at the most, (one gecko was 21 grams the other was 11 before the chunky look) is this just them maturing to adulthood size or are they becoming overweight? I can still feel the ribs the same as before, they dont feel like they are covered in fat. Most of the new weight seems to be at the belly. The temperment and activity level hasnt changed, so i dont think they are sick.

I'd have to see a picture, but it sounds like she's just getting "girly curves".  Your baby is growing up!

well it wasnt the gram so much as length to gram ratio. Can geckos even become obese from eating CGD and crickets like once a month or once every other month?

I suppose I can't say it would NEVER happen...but that sounds like a healthy diet and similar to what I feed my geckos...and none of mine are obese... (actually one was obese when i got her and has trimmed down to a healthier weight)
Their obesity can look not only think through the body but they can get like fatty skin rolls on there sides and arms.

They can. Some geckos are just little piggies. For quite some time I've been graphing the SVL to Gram ratio, and asking other keepers for their data, but the idea of making something of a Gecko BMI was met with some hostility.  For the graph to be even remotely acurate, I'd need Hundreds of Data points, it just hasn't worked out. I think I initially overestimated how many people record their geckos weights. anyway. They sound nice and robust.not over weight.
