I have seen a lot mentioned about the size of the enclosure for a gecko, and it is often listed in either quarts or gallons. My tank didnt have either listed. I found a mathmatical formula for finding the gallons based on dimensions, but it doesnt seem very accurate to me.

What would be the gallon/quarts of a cage 18x18x24?
How many geckos would you/ do you house in a cage that size?

that would be right around a 32 gallon aquarium if my estimations are correct. (they may not be  Cheesy)

in a cage that size you could comfortably house a pair or possibly a trio. (10-15 gallons per gecko is a pretty good rule of thumb IMO)

There's an easy formula to find the approximate size of a cube in gallons-

Length x width x height / (divided by) 231 =  volume in gallons.

For a sterilite bin, measure the sides about half way up the bin-NOT at the top or the bottom, since the bins have slanting sides-more trapezoidal than rectangular.

It might not be right on the money but it's pretty damned close!
