I got the ball for $50 as a pet-only because of a huge over-bite.  She's sweet as can be and a nice 125g.  Sorry for the crappy pics, they are with my cell phone.  Her name is Santa's Little Helper coz her face reminds me of the dog on Simpson's Wink

These other 2 are a pair of female red tails I'm babysitting for a friend.  One is a salmon  morph, the other is a normal.  the normal one's  abit nippy, and the salmon one has some muscular issues.... but I'm working with them both to help them tame up a bit and just get more attention then she can give them at the moment.

Salmon female, tho she ia washed out in this pic

Thanks Smiley  I've been having trouble getting her to eat.  I called the breeder, but was unable to get back to him at the time b/c I got sick.  I have to try to get ahold of him again.  He seems pretty responsive.  She's still a total sweetheart tho.  I really love her.  I should get some updated shots of her, and weigh her again to make sure she hasn't lost too much weight.

How's your breeding going?

what are you feeding her? sometimes they dont like f/t and some dont like live. ive heard if you heat up a f/t real well and then put the snake in a dark box with the mouse, then it is easier for the snake to smell the mouse and sense the heat of it.

you can coax and somewhat force feed, but i HATE doing that, and i dont recommend it unless absolutely necassary

They can be tricky with the feeding.  Did the breeder tell you EXACTLY what she is eating? LIVE FT rats mice African Soft furred rats? Important to get that information if you don't have it.

She had been eating f/t rat pups for the breeder, which I have continued to offer.  Most my snakes havetaken to the water-thaw method I use, but. I'm wondering if that may be turning her off to the food.  I will try to dry them off before offering.  My other had take it or leave it attitued when I switched to this thawing method.  Maybe that's what's messing her up.

I will call the breeder back at a more reasonable hour to get his input on things.
Thanks for the input. I will try the dark box method tonight.
