I bought mine from Anthony here, few years ago. Not sure if he might have another one or not. $35-$40 bucks.

Let me look upstairs tomorrow.  I might have an extra copy.

I ended up with two, and never used the other, but I don't remember if I sold it at the herp show.

$30 shipped if I still have it.

If anyone else is interested, there's a store around here (Rochester, NY) that I believe sells them for $35 with Philippe's Herbie Hancock...

I got mine there a few years back and a few weeks ago I noticed they still have a few copies.

Of course!!

Tony and I even shared a table at the WNY herp show two years ago!!  Would have shared last year, but I didn't have anything to sell, but I've also bought geckos from him, and they're SUPERB!!

He and his lovely wife are GOOD PEOPLE!!

That's one of the reasons I asked him to help mod!

He's one of the few people here I've actually met face to face, and he's got integrity!!

Am I really that much of a be-otch?  I thought I behaved quite well at the herp show!!

LOL-Megan's a sweetie, too!!

Lost a BUNCH of geckos to the mold infestation...see "tragedy In The Herp Room...in Off-topic.

Berto and Tiger Lily are doing GREAT, but I lost Wolfy (the MBD gecko I had at our table) and Pat the Gimp!!

I lost about 15 geckos...and trying to rebuild the colony while the guys fix the herp room.  I have a few on hold until the weather is better.  It throws my schedule off by about 3 months by the time I quarantine and treat.

Still no camera, but I just ordered a light box/light combo off E-bay.  Auntie Nick is going to loan me his old National Geographic Special (Dimage 7-complete with tutorial) when I'm ready for it.

With the luck I've had in the last year, it'll probably explode when I open the package.

Got the incubator off ThinkGeek, too.

The camera is next.

Tony...you're such a sweetie!!

I may get a late start, but it looks like I'll have several geckos to add to my existing colony.

I have a few on hold until the weather is warmer, and I've gotten 3 cute juvies in the past couple weeks to grow up.

I may not have anything to sell this year, but I'll be at the show to get some more new kids, either way.

You KNOW I always check your kids out first, and usually walk away with one of them!

I may even go for some of those sweet tiny day geckos that Slizards had!

And I have to check out SickBoy herps again!  That's where I got Bianca-the cream tiger girl.

I'm going to be cutting it close for the May show. I might not vend unless I can warm my guys up enough to breed.  I'll attend either way to see what I can pick up.  Sick Boy had some NICE looking cresteds.

This Fall show is going to be big for me.  I should have some cresteds and hopefully my first home-grown gargs.  Still another years away from producing sarasinorum...

So there IS going to be a May show??  I knew they were talking about it, but didn't know it was a done deal!!

Wow!!  I'll have to put some money up for that!!

Yeah-I was thinking the Fall show.

Now, since there's a May show, I might have some kids ready for NEXT may... Cheesy

May 22nd
http://www.wnyherpsociety.org/spring_reptile_show

I have 4 months to figure out how to justify new geckos  Tongue

I should have plenty of eggs by then, but I'm still waiting for 3 new girls to get up to breeding weight.  Probably another year because it's so cold in my house!

AWESOME!!!

Maybe I'll have the colony crankin' in time for next May!!

As for new geckos...you could use the old "look what followed my home" ploy!

Or-"They looked so SAD after I held them!!  I couldn't leave them there!!  They LOVE me! "

Having 2 shows a year would actually make it worth joining WNYHS!!

I'd get admission at a reduced rate if I don't vend, and I could get the tables at a discount!

Katey is going to be making origami animals to give out as freebies to kids, too.

And I was thinking of getting molds and making chocolate herp suckers.

Haha, she's too shrewd for that.  I've been given approval pending a good production season.

Also, you inspired me!  I set up a page on facebook for people in upstate/western NY to network geckos.

Hopefully we can see what other breeders are int he area and get some good trading/selling/exchange of info!

Works for me!!  I'm not on FB very often...I'm just too busy with other stuff, but I'll spread the word!!

Try-"It was a freebie!"  or "I won it!"...but that only works if Katie's not at the show.

LOL, used that before. Maybe 5 times?? 1 garg and 4 cresties.  Others have just plain been "secret" geckos.

I'm not on facebook or I would join the group, but I'm certainly thinking about the show in may.  And as far as excuses for new pets a couple months ago in our store a little boy tried the "but he loves me I can't just leave him here!" routine with a chinchilla, it didn't work but it was a nice try lol.

A lot of people in the hobby refer to it as the Rhac Bible.  It is currently the most comprehensive collection of information on rhacodactylus geckos, centering on cresteds.  It's a few years old so some of the information is slightly out-dated, but about 99.9% of it is still spot on and there are plenty of great photos.  It's out of print, but you can still find it some places for a reasonable price.
