Just checked on my big gargs' laybox tonight and found two eggs! I've had these guys since August, got them at the Hamburg show, and that whole time they seemed uninterested in each other. The only thing I changed recently was the laybox medium--switched from sphagnum to cocofiber. So excited!

I used to get excited to see eggs. Then I realized I had forever to wait for the babies to pop out!  That is the fun part now  Grin
Good luck with those eggs and please post pics when they decide to make an appearance  Smiley

Ah, see I've had everyone pretty much cooling off the last 6 months, so eggs are a novelty again!

I was shocked last year when I got my first garg clutch, those eggs are HUGE compared to cresties'!  I hope yours fare better than mine.  It was my girl's first season and it was a dud pair and that was it.

I found this pic on another forum showing the different sizes of rhac species' eggs:

That is how I felt when I saw my first leachie egg!  Then my big leachie girl laid one and it was even bigger than the BIG first leachie egg. It was shocking! Wink

It's great, but you don't really get the scale of the garg egg, the crestie must be close to hatching.

Forgot to mention, it goes Crested, Gargoyle, Chahoua, Sara, Leachie in that photo.

To give you a better idea, here's the scale of my first garg clutch last year.
