here goes. some of these pics are old, some are crappy but ive been collecting cresties for about 2 years now so i figured it was time to see what ive aquired over these years.

first up is demitri (was certian she was a boy when i bought and named her) she is my first crestie, and a big girl at 58 grams.
the day i got her

 and more recently


"Brooklyn"

the day I got her (4.4 grams)


"unnamed 1"

fired up a bit


"unnamed 2"
I bought her as an adult from a petco for 35 bucks lol


Gatsby
this guy is my champoin! he weighs 57 grams and is the father of my 2010 hatchlings



"scarlet"
bought her as an adult as well, also for 35 bucks (what can I say, they were on sale that day haha) mother of my 2010 hatchlings

the day i got her


alittle petco rescue i got (had stuck sheddings on his feet and his tail tip was necrotic)


and the babies lol

Gatsby and Scarlett are gorgeous!
Those babies look to have some pretty nice structure going on!

thanks! I was really pleased with how nice the structure was on all the hatchlings this year. scarlets crests arent the greatest, but gatsby looks like a pitbull his head is so big  Cheesy. looks like he passed his crests on to all his offspring this year.

observing the color changes from hatchling to adult is probably my favorite aspect of breeding cresties, its amazing how much some of them change with age.

Agreed. I've had babies that I would've totally pegged as buckskins or not that interesting turn out to be something completely different. And sometimes even the parents are no help either. I have one female that's pretty much a patternless yellow, but all of her offspring come out these awesome looking flames.
