Does anybody use it?
My guys both eat straight CGD, but I mixed up some WER Diet and they both seemed to like it more.
It smells better, but is it as balanced as straight CGD?
(they also get crickets dusted with ICB every friday night)

Wild Eye Reptiles Diet: http://www.wildeyereptiles.com/catalog/crested.htm

3 jars fruit baby food (peaches, apricots, Hawaiian delight, etc.)? No citrus fruits!
1 small jar of chicken baby food
1 whole banana
2 teaspoons of honey
1 teaspoon of lemon juice (used as a preservative)
2 teaspoons of T-Rex Crested gecko diet
10 drops of liquid vitamin (we use a vet prepared mix for herps but any high quality
avian multi vitamin will work)

This is mixed in a blender until smooth and then poured into cocktail ice cube trays and frozen.? The cubes can be thawed and fed in a few seconds.

Sounds like the treats I give. Wouldn't use it as a staple, but it's ok every now and then.

It might be ok to feed occasionally, but it's almost certainly not as balanced ad Allen's MRPs.  For one thing, I see no source of calcium and/or D3, only a multivitamin.  Even if that stuff was in there, Allen's formulas were tweaked and refined to get the right amounts of each ingredient over years of trying it with geckos.  Finally, the nutritional makeup of baby foods can vary, so if you didn't use the exact same brand and flavor of baby food each time, the diet would never be exactly the same.

Treat yes, a main staple NO. I occasionally give that (or some thing similar to it) at a treat. I mean every once or twice a month...

You really shouldn't mix CGD with other foods.  Feed that seperately if you ask me.  I just feed CGD.  Do you have a reason for adding things in?
