Black Dot in Candled Egg Normal?

 I candled both eggs from the same clutch that are about 35 days and inside there is a black dot in both of them. I just wanted to know if this was normal, or if not what does it mean.

It MAY be the babies' hearts.

I've never really seen that myself, though

Could be the eyes. They develop very early on in chickens, and probably in reptiles also.

It just shows how long I've been out of school, thatI didn't even think of that!!
