i think my baby crested escaped when i was putting the humidity guage and thermometer in its cage Sad i dont see him anywere in its cage, sometimes he likes to hide under paper towels but ill see his tail sticking out, i dont see him anywere in there i took out his little climbing things and his favorite rock but still didnt see him, i put little things of cgd around my room hoping he'll find them. hopefully hes also just hiding in his cage since its still daytime, but i have an evil cat, lola,  Undecided

i put a towel under my door hoping he hasnt gotten out of my room yet, my room has like super high ceilings but a small space W and L, my cat has seen my gecko before but she wouldnt be able to open the door, i went to petsmart today to get the humidity guage and thermometer today and my door has been close, the lock was still on the cage when i got back too

another thing is that, my mom is TERRIFIED of reptiles, she let me get one this time but HATES them, so i dont really wanna tell her it escaped, cuz i cant find it :/ please help hes still only like 5-7 weeks old :/ im sooo worried but trying not to panic Sad

They do that all the time. I used to have one cage where they would jam themselves into a tiny crack of a space between the screen and the top. Others here I know have had similar experiences. But even if they do get out, they often won't go far. I just had a hatchling escape from the incubator and found him about a week later and he appears to be no worse for the wear.

I have an artificial orchid in my tank and my littler one are always climbing down the leaves. because of the light color and spots the gecko looks like another flower. i think they do that on purpose to watch me and lauch at me frantically looking for them.
