most likely they will fight... I wouldn't recommend it.  you run the risk of losing one or both geckos.

I've even had females that fought with each other.

I'm definitely thinking i want to keep all them separate unless breeding or juvies...i like their tales, the patterns on some of them are so beautiful.

I've also had them drop the tail when kept completely solitarily. Okay one of those times was my fault, as I closed a tail in a cage door, but still no guarantees. I think somewhere on the site Anthony mentioned that most of his geckos over 5 years old do not have tails and most of the cresties in the wild don't. Maybe there's some evolutionary advantage to not having a tail, like being easier to climb through dense foliage quickly at adult size. It works for treefrogs:)

ya...I can see how not having the heavy tail could help.  I bought a new female who sleeps upside down on the edge of the tank...i feel some floppy tail coming on so I'm going to provide more vines and such.  I was reading anthony's info and I might just keep a couple females together and cross my fingers they get along.  Any signs of fighting I'll clean out the cage try again until I think they're just being too aggressive and need to be separated.

Females usually do unless one of them is noticeably bigger or smaller, in which case they often bully for food. I keep 2 or 3 females per 70 quart sterlite container.

Right now I have like 60 something quart plastic tubs with air holes on sides and lids.  Is that big enough for 3 females and possible a male during breeding?

Yes, but you'll probably have to clean it every few days.

=] not a problem I'm a clean freak and usually if I find poop I remove the paper towel immediately and replace it.
Right now I don't have many geckos so it's not time consuming to do this, but once i get more I'll probably just started cleaning the cages out entirely every couple days.

Right now I clean them every other day or so. My biggest problem lately has been d&*(ned fruit flies. They love CGD, lay their eggs all over it, so I'm replacing food way more than during the colder months. The worst part is, I think they may be my own fault--as I had a culture of them for awhile to feed some baby red eyed tree frogs, and I think these may be their descendants.

aww wow what a pain!
This is kinda random, but on anthony's care sheet it says something about 'Entamoeba Invadens' and about coming from amphibians or turtles so now I'm freakin out a bit because I have 3 aquatic turtles in the same room as all my cresties!

Entamoeba is usually denoted by extremely rapid weight loss. (Another reason I'm big on the weighing!:)). I've been meaning to order some of the entamoeba fix food to have on hand just in case, but it's doubtful that you have anything to worry about. Just make sure you don't cross contaminate to be on the safe side.

ya I'm thinking about moving the turtles downstairs in a 55 gallon long tank (which petco is having a sale $1 a gallon) and making it pretty so it will be like a show piece in the house rather than the cheap plastic tub used for breeding..
plus it will be like another couple years before they're ready to breed.
