I recently got my first tarantula, an Avicularia versicolor.  Octa is just a spiderling, and isn't very blue yet.  Her enclosure is a little Hot Wheels car display box!  Hopefully she'll get that brilliant blue after her next molt.  (Obviously, I don't know the sex, we just chose female until we know different!)

I never posted this, but Octa molted during our 9 hour drive home from TN this past summer.  She lost three legs in the process.

I came home today to a very pale legged, freshly molted T.  She now has all 10 of the proper tarantula digits!
