Another beauty I picked up. It does have a bite on its leg and had a shedding problem.

Is it just me or does his/her belly look funny to yall? I saw something similar in the bearded dragon we tried to rescue. We believed it was parisites. Not trying to scare you...I could be completly wrong and making a total fool of myself. Just saw that tummy and thought "hmmm"  Huh

I dont know  Huh  It just looks like she's got a full belly to me.  Did they give you that one because of the bite on the leg?  I got a free one because it was missing it's tail but when i got it home it was a little thin and had a bite on the top of it's head.

She is a great eater, thank God, and took to CGD right away. All they feed at my store is crix and mealworms. She was probably lacking in nutrition and catching up. She is in Iso Ward for now and doing great! I discovered the bite mark as I was taking off her stuck-on shed at home. No, she was not a freebie! I paid full price, $49.99 plus tax.

Well if you pay for it then it's not really a rescue....it's a purchase.

I still feel it was a rescue from a miserable death at Petco. Screw the money. But, that's just me...

When you give them money you are supporting their practices. They will take your money and replace the 1 you bought with 2 more. So you may have saved one but you opened the door for them to mistreat more.

It is sad when pet stores are able to stay in buisness because people buy there animals because they feel bad for them. If nobody bought mistreated animals then the stores would either chance their practices or go out of buisness. It's hard sometimes but the best thing to do is to simply leave the animal at the store, and never go back.
