Hi, what do you guys use to monitor temperature and humidity?
I'm trying to find the best digital ones to use for crested geckos.

I never use them.

I use a thermometer in the room and mist 2 to 3 times a day-depending on the season.

every digital thermometer/ hydrometer i have ever bought has broke within a few months. I have an old school murcury thermometer hanging in my room that i can use to ball park it but thats about it.
I also use a set misting pattern (once every day in winter, once every other day in spring or summer time) and it seems to be working good so far but where i live the climate is pretty mild (central coast, CA) so the temps and humidity are pretty good to begin with.

i'm only planning on getting one gecko, but if someone would recommend a brand of thermometers and hygrometers, that would be grateful.  Tongue

the digital thermometers that lasted the longest for me were the ESU reptile brand ones. they have black ones for terrariums, or yellow ones for aquarium use. they were about 10 bucks at petsmart.

the best hydrometer ive used was a Zoo Med anaolg hydrometer (a little gauge with a needle) it is still going strong after almost 2 years.

ive never had the electronic combo temp /humididty gages last longer than a few weeks though.
