As the breeding season starts for the 2010 year, i have been thinking about all my different projects im trying for. This year i have some great projects ideas. All the different morphs, not just in crested geckos but all my reptile projects.
My crested projects for the 2010 season.....

TOP PROJECTS!
Phantoms: Tangerines, reds and super creams

F2's: I have been growing up some F1's....i know this sound boring, but the idea of putting fresh bloodlines into my projects is top of the list.

Pinners: im working on having olive, buchskin and all reds with pinning...this might not happen, last year when i tryed this all the olive, bushskin and red parents produced more of a flame pinner look, but this year i have something new to try....

TOP SECRET: i know...its mean to say something and not tell you what it is, but if it happens will post is as my top secret projects....i dont think i have never seen a living one....

Now its your turn...what projects you guys have for your crested gecko season???

I've got a yellow tiger male currently paired with an olive flame and a patternless dal buckskin/olive. I'm not sure what to expect out of that, but I have a yellow tiger and an orange tiger who may be ready to breed later this year. Definitely love tigers! Smiley

Other than that, I'm currently waiting for Anthony's 10-pack of hatchlings to grow up. Smiley

I would love to start a pinner group this year but not quite sure if I want to lay out money for adults or just go with another grab bag. I'm still new at this and I don't want to get too insane.  Grin

As I am slowly submersing myself into this hobby, this year will just be watching my ACR 10pk grow and mature. I'll also be scouting for quality adult cresteds, particularly of the female variety.

I can't wait to see what you guys come up with this year!

I've got some ideas, but they won't pan out this year as I am still awaiting all the geckos to arrive.  I want to try to get a high-contrast red & orange tiger going.  I also have the hopes of producing some olive dorsal patterns with a yellow base-color... that one is a long shot, but worth the try.  There's one other look I am going for, but will likely not happen for a few seasons.  I'll post that if I actually can get it to happen again.

The rest of you have some cool projects in the works.  I look forward to seeing how they turn out, so post pics when you get them!

whats the deal with f1s and so on, is their a link to explain it all, I used to know that stuff with fish and other heprs but its been a long time. I thought f1s were babies from wild caughts. I dont think thats boring at all,I think its not talked about enough. Would love some that were closed to wild as I could get. Seems like a great project.

Nothing is as refreshing as seeing a well kept enclosure with clean healthy thriving animals doing what they do. Dont let your animals live in nasty little homes. Also, our voices do make a difference. Pay attention to warnings about reptile bans and such, sign a petition, be heard, it works. Thanks

I'm doing my usual toss some unexpected combos together and see what comes out.
It's my first season with some high end adults in the mix, so WHO KNOWS? But I leant my best male to Tanina, and I have one of hers for the season....so yah. no idea what to expect.
Still shuffling around a little bit since one of my females layed three clutches and then decided she didn't like that male anymore. Maybe it was something he said?
red creams might come out. maybe.
