ANYONE have any experience breeding golden geckos??

My goldie laid an egg-on paper towel-under her coco hut.
I know they're egg gluers. If I tear the paper towel apart, can I put that egg into my SIM??
Thanks in advance for any help!!!

i have this problem with my tokays.....i have to hatch them at around 85, i dont know what a sim tho' might be too cold for them. can the sim get that warm? sometimes i will hatch them out at 89 but i like to put them at the coldest spot. think that take just as long as tokays eggs. would be cool, if they hatch, you got a buyer.....

Okay-first-the SIM is a hatch box that keeps the eggs out of the substrate. It's NOT an incubator, so you still need an incubator for high-temp eggs.
The point is to keep the eggs out of the substrate to keep them from drowning and to keep them clean.
Here's the product page-

The goldie egg I found was a dud, so it molded over the last couple of days, but if I find more, they're going in the SIM-just in case.

I have heard that when incubating gecko eggs of this type (hard shelled) that the eggs retain humidity much better than say a leo or a rhac egg would, and that temperature is more important than humidity.
(seems pretty true, i hatched out some bibrons geckos when i was in jr high school totally on accident by just leaving the eggs in the cage, it was a sand substrate, and i dont recall ever misting them so humidity must have been in the 30-40% range, pretty low)
anyone know if theres any truth to this? if so, i would think a SIM might not be the best choice for these species.
