does anyone one this site have experience with egg eating snakes? i dont know the spiecies or anything about them, but i always thought they were neat and was wondering if they are ocassionally kept in captivity.

I have seen them for sale intermittently at lllreptile.com listed as Tanzanian Egg Eating Snakes, though it's been at least a week since I've seen one up there.  LLL changes their site around a few times a day, so it may pop back on at some point.

Never had one though Sad

They eat quaileggs so it's not as easy as going to the fridge and giving them a a chicken egg.

yeah, i was hoping they could eat chicken eggs...they arent on my posible pet/interest list anymore haha, finding quail eggs whould be a chore i imagine.

Quail eggs?  Yikes, I was hoping they'd be partial to Cadbury Creme chocolate eggs.  Though that might get violent in this house!
