Ok the gecko pair I have is a proven pair. They laid eggs for my mother... but the female layed them under the moss and my mother did not find the eggs until they had dried up beyond hope.

So instead of making a realistic cage would I be better to place them on paper towels?

If that is the case... Which I am ok with.... what else need to be in the tank?  Humid hide? Lay box? potted plants?

Thank you guys for helping with all my questions.

All my pairs are on papertowel with designated lay boxes.  It does happen, but I rarely have a female lay outside the box.

Thank you guys.

Now other than the lay boxes what else should I put in the tank.

Do any of you guys keep yours in steralites?

I know the female layed eggs about 2 weeks before I got her. The lady I got them from called to say she found some in the tank over the weekend when she went to clean it out.

Mine are all in sterilite with holes drilled along the top of the containers for ventilation.  They all have a lay box, water dish, hide (consisting of corkbark-some with plants attatched), and fake greenery for climbing and hiding.
You can see in most of theses containers... they're all different, but all have the same basics.

Yes, you're allowed!  Wink I use 58 or 73 qt. for my adult pairs and groups.  The two I pictured are 73 qt.

Awesome.  Smiley

Thank you very much... Steralites to me seem to much easier than messing with tanks.

I use them for quite a few of my frogs.  I appreciate the help.
