I apologize for the poor excuse of a post above. The post was cut short and submitted before I was done. This is what it should have read.

I had just purchased a scale and weighed my geckos. Each clocked in a 2 grams. I double checked my notes and they are about 2 months old. My question is this: does that sound normal? If its worth noting, they are fed primarily CGD. I am yet to add insects to their diets and frankly, I didn't plan on it.

That's what mine weigh. Not growing too fast becuse it is cold here. I hay put a light on them to increase their temps to the mid 70's.

The weight is good for the age you are puting them at.

If they'd been eating insects, they may grow a bit faster and be slightly larger but that sounds like a perfectly normal size for geckos of that age on CGD (all of mine are on CGD exclusively as well).  None of my juveniles on nothing but CGD are older than 6 months old yet, but they're still no heavier than 8 grams if that, so just expect them to grow a bit slower than geckos that get bugs.  They'll catch up in growth with time though.

That's comforting. I'm really in no hurry with these guys. I just enjoy watching them grow.
