Hello, I don't have a crested gecko yet, but I will be getting one soon!!! I want to make sure I do enough research on them before I go and buy them because I want it to live a long healthy and happy life Cheesy if you have any pointers let me know!  I am looking to buy a crested gecko with a flame pattern.

Welcome to Ciliatus, and welcome to your new addiction!!

The best advice I can give you at this point is to READ, READ, READ, since you don't have the new gecko yet, and don''t have any specific questions!!

That's what I did when I first joined!!  I read every single post of every forum!!!

But when you you do have a question, don't be afraid to ask!!!  We don't eat newbies!!  I can guarantee that it's been asked before, and we're all here to help each other learn.  NOBODY knows EVERYTHING about these critters!!!

Try the search feature, too!!  It works GREAT!!

Settle in and make friends!!  We're here to help!!

U will buy a baby or adult cresties?
Because for baby you can start with a little faunabox
for adult is better something a little more big  Wink

For me is better if u start with an adult
adult are more strong, eat big insects (find micro insects is not very easy)  Wink

For me one cresties is ok at 5/6 months (but is not sexual ready)
mi female have 6 months and is big for eat normal insects
