2 Babies out, my first clutch has hatched now!

Well it was my birthday today (18 years old WOOO). I got one excellent present, the second baby in the first clutch decided to make an appearance!!! She is gorgeous and a day 53 hatchling! Here he/she is:

I was just thinking that at 53 days those two were basically backwards....  the one that just hatched was probably the true premie, while the teeny one with all the unabsorbed yolk was probably more on track to hatch at the right time (IF the egg hadn't sprung a leak!).  Funny how things work out!  Congrats on the new kids, and I hope everbody does well for you!

Maybe, it's impossible to say though! I do think the first couple weeks temps must have had some hand in this. We had a heatwave and it got up to 80-85*F in the house. They did seem to develop much faster than some of the later eggs.

In any case, both are doing great still! I can't wait to see how the normal sized one changes, her doral patterning just glows!
