Help with tank extension

HI EVERYBODY

i had a question about building a tank extension. i have a 55 gallon long aquarium and would like to build an extension to the top of the tank much like a zilla top enclosure for terrariums that you can buy from your lps. does any one have any ideas on how i could build one. i really appriciate any help. thanks

i make some cage toppers back in the day with window screening, you can get it at any hardware store, made acouple screens then screwed them together to make a cage, not hard at all, just takes time....good luck, lp

thanks man did u have doors on your topper? how would you do that?

i didn't, one thing i have seen is a small hinge and hooks that might work......
