Hi i am new to crested geckos and this site. i was just wondering if someone could help me i.d. what morph/color you call mine.
his (i cant tell if its a boy or a girl yet) name is pablo and from his size and weight im guessing he is like 4 or 5 months old i may be wayy off on that anyway from looking at others on here my best guess is the he is a Halloween harlequin but honestly i have no clue so any help would be greatly appreciated! Ohh and these are pics from my 3 seasons room on a big fake tree he is not outside or anything lol

Thanks -ryan

Thanks for the quick replies and i would almost rather a girl because then i could get another without worrying about having two males, either way im happy bc these geckos are so cool! i have had a leporad and a Tokay and this is by far the coolest pet ever.. the only problem is i want another  Grin

and one last question.. does the morph really mean anything other than color? or does the morph show that lizards genetic traits (pertaining to color and markings)?

thanks in advance! -ryan

Morph is physical characteristics OTHER than color.

Harley, pinstriped, dalmatian, blushing, peppered, furred, crowned, bicolor, and fringed are all morph-related.

Color is...color.

For example, reds come in solids, bicolored, harley, dalmatian, etc.

Like a Halloween Harley is a harley with black/brown background color and orange harley markings.

Creamsicles are peachy/pinky orange background with white or cream harley markings.

No need to apologize for being new and not knowing things!!

I was a newbie a few years ago, and the people here helped ME learn, so now I'm helping you.

Nobody is BORN knowing EVERYTHING.

It's what we do here!!

That's what makes Ciliatus a GREAT FAMILY!!!

I didn't know a hemipene from a lamelle, but over the years, I read the posts and asked questions.

If you don't ask, we can't help, and the NO SUCH THING AS A DUMB QUESTION.

Remember that!!!

We don't mock newbies, and we don't bite!!

There's a really good morph chart from the Repashy forum-

http://www.forums.repashy.com/index.php#post121366

Marvin is a partial pinner-flame brindle or tiger.

The orange looks like a solid partial pinner to me.

Here's another morph guide-not as good as Repashy's-but sometimes I can't get on their site.

LOL-I was wondering, because I noticed the M on the back, but figured maybe it was another gecko from the same parents and they passed on a really odd trait!!

Glad I could help with the links!!
