Click HERE to check out the new product guide I added.   I listed a bunch of different products I use and where to buy them.

Nice set up.

I remember a while back when you mentioned those food bowls from pet-co,
What a life saver! No more toppled over souffle cups, or mess.

Just a tip. Try and stay away from the Chlorhexidine gluconate that is sometimes sold over the counter by some retailers.
From personal experience it stained a couple of my tubs.

An easy way to avoid the mistake i made is to make sure when purchasing Chlorhexidine, it is in fact the generic version of Virosan or Nolvasan and not the generic version of Peridex or some other.

Yep...some of the chlorhexidine solutions have other active ingredients like isopropyl alcohol, etc.  There are also chlorhexidinie products made specifically for oral use, so they have a different consistency, etc.  Those other products are quite a bit more expensive, though.

Just stick with the $12 a gallon chlorhexidine that looks like the bottle in the picture and you'll be just fine.

I got some of the Petco bowls and ordered the liners for them.? Our petco store had some in stock so I didnt have to order the bowls.

and I found something like the ultimate shaker at work for $1.50.? It's a little cheaper looking but it works, goes up to 32 oz.? I got it at Dollar General but you can maybe find them at Family Dollar or Wal Mart.? We usually have the same items as they do.

This is what it looks like

I've tried those, but they don't work as well.  The biggest feature of the ultimate shaker is that it has a strainer built in to break up and mix the diet.  Makes a big difference.

Actually I like using those containers as hides for my tokays, the ones I use look like that but maybe a little bigger. They love them and that is usually always what they lay their eggs in so I can take them out of the cage and just add a new one because the are so cheap.

That list is awesome, very helpful for people new to the trade like myself.

Anthony - would you recommend the one part or two-part crested gecko diet?  I am thinking that because I am a newbie at this I should stick to the one part and not worry about adding nectars.

Thanks in advance.  Do you travel to the shows in Canada - ie. Mississauga?
