well today is rodent feeding day. I started feeding all my baby snakes, then move on to the larger ones. I have my baby pair of Bredl's Pythons i got from Inland reptiles. Ii fed them, put them back in their tub. Well for some reason i checked the tub and the nicest one was upside down dead in the water bowl and the other one was attacking it, got them apart and it wasn't moving... Cry(very sad) because it was in the H2o bowl i thought it might have drowned, so i did something i never thought i would do.....made it regurge its food then snake CPR, yes..... mouth to mouth......and guess what?? it worked Shocked

I just needed to tell someone.... it just reminded me of my army medic days Cheesy

Yeah-it's pretty amazing what CPR can do for pets.

Did it on my Graceful cham,  and MANY new-born/blue kittens, and only lost two.

The key is being VERY CAREFUL with the force of the breathing and compressions.

It's a fantastic feeling, knowing you've saved a little critter's life!!!

Dude.... I can't believe I missed this thread!  That's pretty damn cool, Lance!  Last time I tried it was on a baby 'gator and a hamster.  Neither one worked (there's a lot to be said for getting to them fast enough!).  I've done it on a few puppies after emergency c-sections on moms, though, and always had great success with them.  VERY COOL!
