According to the definition of a creamsicle. I would say yours is lacking the cream and is probally a little on the red side.On the bright side that gecko could probally be used for a creamsicle project Wink

It's always hard to tell by the photos, since color on moniters sometimes is seen different ways. From my screen that one is showing some olive tint as well, which would need to be bred out for a cremesicle project. But it could be doable.

Thanks for the input,  I was thinking that the back was too yellow, but what to call him? How about a yellow crested orange flame? None the less, he's a great crested, especially for a $40 rescue from the local petco.

Sure would be nice to mate him with "mascot" red harley on the site banner, and see what happens. Wink

Took a picture of my boys last night.  He's in the upper right, of course.

That one's close, but it doesn't appear to have the "cream-back" trait.   That gecko is a perfect candidate for a creamsicle project, though.  If I were you, I'd try to find one with a cream back, regardless of what color the rest of the gecko is.  Sooner or later, you'll produce one with the orange color and the cream back.

Definitely a great purchase and he'll be fun to play with. Love the photo of all the boys, but what's wrong with you? Can't you wrangle 3 adult males for a photo shoot? (j/k) Those are all awesome males!

LMAO.  I was lucky to get them all in the same frame.  I think they smelled FREEDOM.

P.S.
Thanks for the compliment, we definitely think so. Grin

I really like the dar one, pepper I'm assuming?  Very cool looking.  And your Petco find is also very cool (the red one's really nice too, I'm just more of a "pattern" person).  LOL, I just saw a nice orange/red juvi at petco that I want, but my wife will kill me if I come home with yet another animal... hmm, maybe if I get her the 2 chins she was eyeing... LOL, the zoo begins again. Anyway, Great looking geckos.

Thank you, Pepper is actually a grey and charcoal (not his pest pic).  He also has many more spots that you can't see in the photo.  He's really better looking in person.
