WOW!  You have some spoiled arachnids!  I suck with the latin names, but regardless of what they all are, their set-ups are pretty awesome!  Whats the common name for the one with the red-rump?  I have a big (and evil) Panama Red-Rump at work that looks an awful lot like that, but I'm sure there are others with red butts out there!

Hi,

i love it to design those beautiful cages.  Smiley I also built up some cages consinsting of glas or wood. It makes a lot of fun and so i can exactly adjust the cages about the requirements of the different pets i keep. ( i hope its written in the right way  Grin Grin Grin )

Which of my spiders do you mean? The first one? The problem is that we germans often or only use the latin description  Wink It's hard for me to find out the english translations for some tarantulas but im shure we'll find out which beauty you mean  Cheesy

I will open another thread where i can show you my other pets and the cages i built up.

Now it's time for me to watch TV shows on the couch. It's dark outside  Grin

Have a nice day

Hi,

@Emily: Since 2006 i think.  I began with 3 of them and then its gettin more and more. I think everyone knows that Tarantulas can make you addicted very fast  Grin

The goliaths ( Theraphosa blondi /apophysis for us freaky germans  Grin ) are really boring. If you keep them right with a big cave you won't see them very often. If you search some big spiders who are very beautiful you' ll have fun with some Pamphobeteus-species. Even the males are very beautiful

Here is one example: http://img119.imageshack.us/img119/3072/foto394gg4.jpg

Hi Emily,

I get them via internet. Most of them I buy on www.terraristik.com. There is a large Tarantula-market ;-)
