So i got these Two leopards and the cage and everythingfor free from my friends sister. She is pregnent ad had to get rid of em.
I know they have some stuck shed and I gotta figure out how to fix that but that's the only known health issue right now. They're about 7 inches and way to fidgity right now to sex.
so I got some Leopard geckos and they smell!
Btw, As I said they have stuck shed. Any tips on takin care of that?
I'm not sure if it's them or the cat becasue there was a cat where I got everything from but I guess the question is does anyone elses geckos smell?
Anyone have a idea on what color morphs they might be?

One looks tangerine with some carrot tail and the other is hard to tell. It could just be a normal. It doesn't sound like they were too properly cared for (but at least they don't have MBD). They shouldn't smell. It could be because they were being kept on sand. If I were you, I'd dump all of the sand and use paper towel as a substrate.

I agree with getting them off of the sand, it can cause nothing but problems. I rescued a little blizzard at Christmas and she was on sand and I was lucky because she had ingested a good amount of sand, more than half of her first poop was just sand.
I too also say that the first one is a normal, very light on the yellow colouration though and the second a hypo-tangerine, possibly carrot tail.
As for the stuck shed, stick them in a container with warm moist paper towel and let them sit in the container for half an hour or so. Then take a q-tip and moisten the cotton in warm water and gently rub the shed off. It can take a while to remove the shed and there is a possibility that if the shed is stuck good that it may cause the area to bleed slightly from the irritation of removing the stuck shed.
If the shed is being really stubborn you can take vegetable oil and rub a little on the stuck shed and it will loosen the shed up. The benefit of using the oil is that it stays on the shed and gets absorbed into the shed, making it easier to remove.
