My female blizzard laid her first clutch today.  This is her first time laying and she laid two.  I would not have expected it, but she is protecting them.  When I went to remove the egg laying chamber to place the eggs in the incubator, but she guarded the eggs and took a pose towards me.  She laid them around 8-8:30 this morning.

I will snap some pics of them as soon as I can.

I will be incubating for females.  Probably keep the eggs at 80F for 5-6 weeks then jump the temps to 85ish in hopes to reduce the black pigmentation in the hatchlings.  Hopefully all goes well and we have some hatchlings.  Fingers crossed hoping that they are fertile, considering this is her first time laying.

The parents
Male: Normal 89 grams
Female: Blizzard 65 grams when placed with male

Candled both eggs on sunday night, March 1 and both eggs showed rosy patches near the smaller end of each egg.  It was neat how the white light of an LED lights up the insides of the eggs in a dark room.

Well Blossom laid her 2nd clutch of eggs today.  Right on time, tomorrow would have been two weeks since she last laid her first clutch.

This clutch is smaller than the first.  I am not sure if the first clutch was smaller too and then got a little bigger or if this clutch is just smaller.
