I'm trying to figure out the specifics of feeding cresties. I have read everything there is to read and I have a grasp on most of it except this D3 and dusted crickets thing. I know about gutloading and dusting and what benefits are received from this. I am just wondering if I have to feed dusted crickets or can I only feed CGD and be safe from MBD? Which I understand to be caused from calcium deficiency which everyone seems to fix by feeding dusted crickets. I know CGD has D3 in it but is it enough to provide what my geckos need with out the dusted crickets? I don't want to get my geckos sick by not feeding dusted crickets but would rather only feed them crickets once a month or so out of convenience. But I will feed them whenever needed to prevent MBD and floppy tail which also seems to be a side effect of this as well. Thanks in advance for all the expert advice that I know I will receive from this forum.

cgd is a complete diet which requires no further supplementation, as far as i know people allready feeding only cgd supplement with gut loaded crickets because some geckos tend to grow slower than usual on a cgd only diet, so the crickets provide a bit of a protein boost and help with the growth of the crestie.

You don't need to feed ANYTHING besides the CGD unless your gecko specifically needs it for some reason or another.  The CGD is a complete diet with everything that you gecko needs.  The crickets are great to help fatten up your gecko or help them grow a little bit faster. Just dust the crickets with a pure calcium powder, they are getting everything they need from the diet.
