I was wondering whether anyone here has experience with the species "Ptychozoon kuhli". This is the flying gecko. Neat little guys. I ask because I have access to them if I want them. Just don't know much (and can't find much) about them.

Thanks!

Why am I not surprised that Lance has experience with them?  Grin

They are kind of mean, right? I remember getting nipped several times. But maybe those ones were just completely untamed or something.

And yeah, I don't know if they've been in the pet trade long enough for there to be a lot of CB ones. Kind of unexplored territory.

We've carried wildcaught ones off and on for the last  10 years or so....  they never acclimated real well (probably from internal parasites), and were very flighty and nippy.  But they ARE really cool to look at!

Not weird just lots.  LOL!!  I had these guys too.  they were fun.  I had one that kept getting loose.  I finally gave up trying to figure out where he was getting out.  I used to just go in the room with a bag of crix and stand by the tank shaking them.  He heard the sound and would come out of hiding, scurry down the wall and jump back into the tank (i opened the lid first of course). Then he would eat hang out a while and "poof" up the wall he went again.
