Thanks, Lance...they're obviously doing quite well for you!  The one in the last pic shows some "chunkification"!  Not fat...just seem more SOLID than a crestie, alone.  What does their weight sit at now?  It's going to be interesting to see how their color develops!  I really like the second one...

dont know their weight, they were always alil heavyer then my other crestie crosses, might have to do with the crossing, bigger sized crested mom or a different chahoua local might be the reason, my others were never as big as these ones. i think that #3 will look better then my red/orange male sub-adult

The color on him is amazing! I honestly can't wait to see how big they end up being when mature, too.  I never thought about the difference in chewie locale being another piece of the puzzle, but it would certainly make sense.  Of course, the bottom line with hybrids is that you NEVER know what you're gonna get until they are mature...goes for any animal....but it's fun to guess!

I did talk with the people that bred the younger ones...said the chahoua was a pines....so i have hybrids from both locals now, so i think they will look alil different them all the others i have seen

Has anyone had success with 2nd generation hybrids yet? I was under the impression that when two sepeate species breed the resulting offspring are sterile...much like the horse/donkey creating sterile mules.
BTW, they look really great. Nice and healthy too.

and they have bred mules back into hourses and donkeys...most of the hybrids i have seen, you can never breed them to another hybrid...
