Well it's finally happened, and it only took 95 days!  My 3 year old beautiful pine island chahoua finally became a mother!  I'll post pics of the new arrival when I get home.  The clutchmate has yet to hatch, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed.  After setting the new baby up in it's own cage, I went to weigh her to see how she's been doing, and I found her guarding a single fertile egg!  I placed it in the incubator as soon as I got it cut out from the log she'd deposited it deep inside!

no actually I needed batteries for my camera and 3 days later the clutchmate hatched.  I tried getting picks but they're scrambly little buggers so I thought I'd give them a week or two to adjust to me before I attempted a good photo.  They're both really nice, and actually look slightly different so I can tell them apart.  And the 3rd egg appears to be a good one, and is starting to swell and is still showing growth so hopefully it'll make it.  I'll probably post pics later this week.
