the one i just got is great b/c it has an ac adptor so i can plug it in, and is pretty well made. it is the UltraShip 55 or ( Ultra 55) and i got the a/c adaptor for an extra 3.90.  the total cost with shipping is $62.85. i previously had a cheap one nd it fizzed out at a critical time for me, so i decided to upgrade to something more reliable.

300 gram max in 0.1g increments

hey christa- doesnt the ultra ship 55 have an error of around 2 grams? or should i say, precise within 2 grams?

I would recomend checking out ebay, you cant beat the prices on there.  I got mine for less than $17 shipped, weighs up to 300 grams and comes with a leather case.  I've had it for a while and it still works perfectly.

I just (or am about to) score an American Weigh bowl scale. It seems pretty reliable and reasonably priced. Accurate up to a gram. Seems fine for my application.
