@ Portal reptiles

Yes, that would be a reverse pinstripe! Nice one!

I would say patternless pin also.  The reverse pin is the dark stripes opposite where the pin would be and yours has that, also has the raised pinstripe scales but are the same color as the gecko (patternless pin)

so what would it be if it was just dark on the pin???, like this..

I wouldnt call it a pinstripe, it would need the raised scales.  I have seen that on a couple of my orange and yellow tigers but I dont know what it would be called.

Hey, Lance....he looks familiar... Wink

I have wondered the same thing about the dark colored pin-line, since that seems to be a trait my adults definately pass on.  That and the dark line right underneath the lighter color line where the dorsal patterning/coloring starts.

dont all cresties have raised scales down the back???, i thought pin stripe was two stripes down both sides of the back...

I could be wrong, but I think the true pins have more of a strong ridge of raised colored scales verses how some of their scales will tend to peter out past the shoulder & just be more like bumps.  While the strong ridges are more sought after, I believe anything with the full striping is considered a pin, though?  Check out pg. 88 of the de Vosjoli Rhac book....the ridges of scaled stand out pretty well in those pics.
