I didnt get to go but a friend took my Spider ball to sale, it didnt sell.  Prices were too low so he traded for these.

and a 100% pure Irian Jaya female from W.C. adults.  Not the best looking but i know it's not crossed with any other carpet.

The carpet is pretty in that "carpet python way", but the amazons are really cool.  I take it you have males for them already?

I have one male for them.  He looks very similar to them but is a little bigger and a lot meaner

OMG...he's a big 'un!!  Are the females usually so much slighter in build and weight?  My experience is limited to the babies...

They're usually about the same, he's just older than the females.

Maybe it's just that he's coiled in his picture and the girls are showing off their figures...he just seems a lot thicker than them!

Oh. Yea he is thicker. I feed more often.  He was thin like them when I got him

Damn 2-D!!  It's hard to know what you're looking at sometimes!   

How long did you have your male before he started bulking up a bit?  How close to breeding size are your females?

He started bulking up about 3 weeks after I got him.  I usually feed every 4 or 5 days and they were feeding every 10.
These females should be big enough by next year, they're around 3 feet now and i think it's 4 to 5 feet or 3 years old that they breed safely.  I have another female that will take a while  she's still really small but I dont have a male for her yet anyway.
