Hello,

I had to rescue a crested gecko from a garden center today, I was wondering what morph he is? Also, there is a strange mark on the top of his head, does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Thanks! Grin

He looks like a partial pinstripe.  Maybe partial flame as well? He looks healthy and very cute! I think its a scar on top of his head.

The mark on top of his head looks like a scar from where the topmost portion of the skin has been rubbed off.  Morph?  Couldn't tell 'ya except that he looks yellow with partial pinning and blushing...and fringe, of course.  You were just walking around a HomeDepot and someone said "Hey, look up there...that's a crested gecko!"?  Too cool...he got lucky you got him!

Think the scaring could have been caused from his viv not being humid enough for shedding?

To justanotherfroginthepond: Im unsure if your being sarcastic or dumb? Lol. I'll answer as if you're being dumb...I went to the garden centre to look, after my girlfriend told me she saw some cresties at it, I dont usualy buy from garden centres as they dont look after them properly, but couldnt resist him!

To me it looks like a partial pinner and then thats when it gets tough. I would probably say flame that also has blushing. Great looking crested and good save.

Umm...neither, actually.  I don't know where you live, but around here a "garden center" is somewhere that sells plants.  Not animals.  I honestly thought you were at a Home Depot or Lowe's (which are known to have "garden centers") and found a crested from some idiot letting it go or something.  I've never seen any live animals for sale (besides garden insects) in a garden center.  Sorry for the confusion.  Smiley  I would hate to think you actaully thought I was that dumb... Sad
