This is a pic of my boy Gus.? Ila (the girl) looks pretty much the same, but is a little bigger in size and doesn't have the black spots.? She also seems to be darker than him in overall coloring.? He is in his "in between" coloring here.? They're about a year old, per the pet store I got them at.? Since I"m new to all this, what do you think they are?? Thanks.

Oh, he's also looking a little sad here because I just put him back in and won't let him back out.

if u want to get super technical, you could name him a"
dalmation flame

also it looks like he has pinstiping up by his crown  Huh

sure why not?
it has dalmation spots

if it were me id just call it a flame but some people like to use every feature the geckos has like when they go, dalmation flame with partial pinstriping and white fringe and knee caps

ok i see what ur saying. yeha i dont think i would say it was a dalmation. I think with things like that its all up to you, whatever you think it is. i think it would nneed a few more spots for me to say it was.

if she wnats to say its a fire dalmation i have no problem with it Smiley. Some poepel out there are wicked crazy.. they are known as the "morph police" i hope we dont have any here.

Thank you everyone!!!!  The other day they both were looking "lavendar" and then really really dark, like a chocolate brown.  weird  Huh

It definitely has dal spots, I just don't think I would classify it under the dal category if it was my gecko.

just playing devils advocate here, does anyone else think it's funny that we label the geckos by the colors of fired up - which is usually the colors they are he least? anyone? i guess otherwise we'd all have "tan by day - red by night" geckos. ha!
