This is my rubber boa.  I was only allowed to get a snake that wouldn't eat the cat, and these seemed low maintenence and overall calm.  We both loove him!

I like these guys...we're technically not allowed to have them her since they're native, but I end up identifying a few every year for people who fnd them in their yards or out hiking.  Pretty neat!

I've lived in WA for basically my entire life...as a teeneager I knew they were around but hard to find.  When I lived in Tacoma I spent a LOT of time trying/hoping to find one.  As a kid I got tired of garter snakes and always wished for that rare find! I didn't actually see my first one until I was probably about 20-21 yrs. old. 


We can get Rosies, but ordering is just not the same as finding.   Cry

I'm STILL feel a slight pang of jealousy everytime someone brings one in...how pathetic is that!!  Roll Eyes
