well my group has been together for about 8 months now, have laid eggs, but no hybrids....i know that they can retain the semen from when i was breeding them to a crested, but only of three months......its been over 8 tho'. i have them in a different nesting box then my other eggs, so i dont know if they can retain longer or what.....would be nice to take them to my first show

One of my female cresteds layed fertile eggs for 8 months without a male Smiley

I have a group of females that has not had a male with them for about 6 months... they are still laying eggs.  ITS MAKING ME CRAZY!  I don't have room for more eggs so I moved the male, knowing I might have a few months of eggs still, but there are 3 females in that tank and they are still laying eggs.  Grr.... I'll just have to buy another hatchling rack!
